Hangul Playground is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect minimal personal identification: email addresses for authentication via Supabase, and optional nicknames. We also track game performance data (scores, level progress) solely to provide the leaderboard functionality and sync your learning progress across devices. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
The data collected is used strictly for: 1) Maintaining your personal learning profile. 2) Displaying competitive rankings on the Global Hall of Fame. 3) Improving our educational algorithms based on common mistakes (Error Notes). 4) Ensuring a secure environment through anti-cheat measures.
3. Security & Third-Party Integration
We use industry-standard encryption provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL). For site sustainability, we integrate Google AdSense for advertisements and Cloudflare R2 for asset delivery. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.
4. Your Rights & GDPR Compliance
